Bear Lake is our favorite trip each year! We love to just hang out on the beach and play in the sand! It was so relaxing only 7 adults and 5 kids were able to make it... We can't wait until next year!!

Brielle Sherri Clark

15 months

We took Brielle in for her 15 month check up and found out that my once chubby girl is not so chubby any more. I really did know that she wasn't chubby but the fact that she has only gained .06 of an ounce in 3 months has me worried. Not just me but the doctor too. Monthly weight checks for us! We have to go in once a month to chart her weight progress and if in 3 months it isn't getting better we'll have to do something more about it.

Moms out there... How do you get your kids to eat? I struggle with both of my girls!!

Her new favorite thing is to ignore me... I know, so so fun! I will try to get her attention and if she doesn't want to hear it she will simply ignore me. I thought it might be a hearing problem but if I say "treat" or "candy" she whips her head around quickly.

I love that my girls love each other so much. Brielle is quite frugal with her kisses but will always give one to Brynnly! We are so happy to have her in our family! Who wouldn't be! Not only is she sweet and a bit sassy... She is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

3 years ago I became a mother. I don't think I could ever describe what it is like or how I felt. Thank you Brynnly. Thank you for all that you have shown and given to me. From the moment I held you in my arms my life was forever changed. You are the sweetest, most caring, adorable, silly, smart, beautiful, incredible little girl I've ever met. Thank you for being a good sister, niece, grand daughter, cousin, friend and daughter. You have brought so much joy into all of our lives. We wouldn't be the same without you. I LOVE YOU PRINCESS!!

That's not a typo my once chubby baby (who is still kinda chubby) is now in the 34th percentile! I was expecting them to tell me somewhere in the 80th. She is such an awesome baby. I was quite nervous about having another baby. I honestly feared that I wouldn't love her as much as I loved Brynnly. It was a silly fear. I didn't think my heart had enough room to love anymore... truthfully it didn't. Brielle showed me that my heart could grow!! The instant I held her in my arms my heart expanded.

My baby is already 6 months old!!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went to my Grandma's house for the O'Bray/Merryweather Christmas party. Then to Danny's parent's house. Brynnly was so excited because Santa was going to be there. Seeing my sweet princess that excited really made my heart happy! I was almost more excited than she was. She told me before that she wasn't going to sit on Santa's lap but when it was her turn Danny scooped her up and plopped her on his lap. She didn't love it but she sat and smiled for a picture.

I didn't think that I would have a delivery story this time. Having a planned c-section took that excitement away. I wasn't scheduled to go in until December 8Th... I was due on December 12th.
Danny took Friday off so we could go see New Moon... What an awesome hubby huh? We went to the movie at 11 (a.m.) with my mom and grandma. My sister, Chelsea, watched Brynnly for us. After my mom and I went to the fabric center to get some fabric for a baby quilt my grandma, mom and I were making. On the way home my mom got Mc Donalds and I wasn't very hungry but decided that I should get something. We went home and hung out for a bit. Then Danny, Brynnly,and I left to go to my grandma's house to make Brielle's quilt.
We had been gone for about 3 mins when I decided to call my mom. I asked her what contractions felt like because I had forgot from when I had Brynnly. I told her that I was probably just being dramatic but I felt funny. I really just felt weird. I didn't want to be a drama queen but I told Danny that I thought that i was in labor. The "contractions" didn't really feel like I remembered. But I had him start to time them anyway. We ran into target to buy Brynnly a coat... I could hardly stand. Thankfully my grandma didn't live far. We got to my grandma's house and when she opened the door i said, "Grandma, I think I'm in labor." So I called the hospital and talked to the nurse (by this time the contractions were 1-2 mins apart and i was dying) The nurse told me to wait another hour because this had only been going on for an hour and it probably was nothing. I also was put on a list to have the on call doctor call me. I then called my mom and told her to meet me at the hospital to get Brynnly. I was in so much pain. I didn't wait the hour we just went to the hospital. My mom met us there and took my bug and Danny and I ran in. I was almost in tears.
We checked in and i could tell the nurses thought I was nuts. But when they checked me to see if they would keep me i was at a 7, fully efaced and had a bulgy bag. Then the chaos started... I asked them if they would be able to get me back for the c-section before i had to push. Her answer was "well we are going to try!" They were running everywhere. They couldn't get and iv started and had to get the anesthesiologist to come get one started. Then they rushed me back to surgery. By the time I got back there I was ready to push. Thankfully my doctor was there and they started the c-section.

Recap: Contractions started 3:30... Got to the hospital 5:00... Ready to push 6:00!! Holy smokes!!
Brielle Sherri Clark was born 6:15 pm 6lbs 7oz 19 1/2in... 3 weeks and 1 day early...

More pictures to come... Brynnly is the best big sister. And Brielle looks JUST LIKE here. When we left the hospital Brielle weighed 5lbs 12oz. They are a little worried about that but other than losing more than the normal amount of weight she is doing amazing!

I am the worst at remembering to take pictures so we're lucky to have one! Here it is!

We went to South Towne Mall to trick-or-treat! We got there a few minutes before it started. Man was it nuts! Brynnly loved it. That night we went trick-or-treating in my parents neighborhood with my mom and sister Sherri. Brynnly kept saying "Another one?" She didn't want to quit. She was so excited to show her daddy all the candy she collected.

Another cute thing she started doing... She said to me "Guess what mom?" and I say "What Bug?" and she says "I love you!"

I am now 30 weeks pregnant! YAY!! Just a little bit left to go. I will be having another c-section. (That's a whole other post in itself so call me if you feel an urge to know more.) While I was pregnant with Brynnly I noticed that she got the hiccups all of the time at least once a day if not more. And after she was born they continued not quite as often but still often enough to take note. This time around my sweet baby gets them about 3 times a day!! I feel like she always has them . Have any of you experienced that? Or known of anyone who has? My mom thinks it is the weirdest thing ever.
But besides the heartburn and backaches I am having a fantastic pregnancy... I do feel more tired this time around but I am chasing a 2 year old all day!!

I can't believe that my baby is 2! She is such a joy in our lives. She is the sweetest little girl. Being a mom has taught me so much. Some of the things Brynnly has taught me:

- how to function on almost no sleep
- showers are a luxury
- never wear white shirts
- naps are a blessing
- patience
- instant unconditional love
- pure joy

Each time I look at her I thank my Heavenly Father for sending her to me. I would do anything for her. Danny and I are so blessed to have her in our lives.

The other day Brynnly and I were reading Cinderella we came to the part in the story where the evil step sisters tear Cinderella's dress. I had to explain that they broke her dress. She was so upset and kept touching the page and saying "Sorry". We actually had to keep going back to that page to look at it. After about 20 minutes she asked me to fix it and I told her I couldn't. After thinking it over for a bit she looked up at me and with the sweetest look on her face said, "It's ok... Daddy can fix it!"

I love having Brynnly in my life she is such a blessing. Tomorrow she will be 2 and I can't believe it. A few days ago Danny asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she said, "Baby sister". (You have to hear her say it... SO CUTE!) Danny responded with, "How about we wait till Christmas for your baby sister?" She looked at him and said, "Umm.. no!".

She is so excited to be a big sister. She loves to go to my doctors appointments and hear her sisters heartbeat. I can't wait till December when we'll welcome our new little girl.

If you would have asked me 3 years ago if I thought I'd have a 2 year old and one on the way at my 3 year anniversary I would have said "NO WAY!" But here we are! I can't believe how time has flown. It seems like yesterday I was waiting for Danny on his mission. What a great 3 years it has been. Danny is the best dad and the most wonderful husband.

A little SISTER!!!

Danny was a little disappointed but loves his little girl and is getting excited. I can't wait for Brynnly to have a little sister. She is going to be the best big sister. She has been saying "sister" all day. She even got to call my mom and tell her. It was so cute! I am 19 weeks and starting to get big. We are so excited for our new little angel to arrive in December!

My brother has a friend who has a litter of kittens that he has to either give away or have put down. And my sweet brother Trevor decided to adopt one. Danny hates cats and would never allow us to have one. Brynnly LOVES it! She gets so excited and loves to play with it.
If you know of anyone who needs a kitty they are already litter box trained and are so good with kids!

She's so happy to sit with the kitty! Even snoop the dog likes the new kitty.

My brother Trevor has such a big heart... She kept telling Trevor thank you. My parents couldn't tell Brynnly that they didn't want it. Trevor should be thanking Brynnly for being so cute. My dad would have told Trev no but Brynnly was so excited he couldn't break her heart!! So we added another animal to the O'Bray farm!

No one tells you when you start potty training that you are going to fail!! Well at least for the first few days... I saw a book called "Potty training in a Day". Right! I'm sure it has happened but not for my bug. The first 3 days were the worst. I am now a more patient person having to go through it.
But I am happy to announce that (I think) we are potty trained. We haven't had any accidents in 3 days and we made it through the stomach flu without any accidents! I feel like that is a huge success. I know there will still be accidents. But let me tell you... I haven't changed a diaper in a week!!! She is in big girl panties. 8 days isn't to bad!! I get a break from diapers til December!!

So we bought a potty... And some panties. She likes to sit on her new potty. My mom told me both my sister Chelsea and I were potty trained by 18 months. Brynnly is now 20 months. So what I really want is your best potty training advice! I'm a little nervous!

The other day I jumped in the shower and let Brynnly run around. (My bedroom and bathroom are attached.) I normally do this and she just plays with some toys and runs in and out of the bathroom. She'd asked for a blanket before I got in this time. So as I was showering I hadn't seen her and I started to get worried. This is how I found her.

She had her baby and 2 books and was fast asleep on my bed! So cute... This is the first time she's ever just gone to sleep without being told. Normally I have to hold her so she'll go to sleep. She'd much rather play than sleep or eat for that matter! But she is so cute!

Memorial Day!

We had a really fun Memorial Day. The Clark family was in Powell so we spent all day with the O'Bray side! It was hot enough that we pulled out Brynnly's fun pool. She loved it. She ran like a crazy around my parents yard. We had a yummy BBQ with steak, shrimp, and all the fixins! Thanks Mom and Dad for a fun holiday!!

She was attached to Aunt Sherri all day. We love Aunt Sherri!!

We took Brynnly in for her 18 month check up on Monday. Poor girl had to get 2 shots. She was traumatized luckily her Nana works at the doctors office and was there for her. The doctor said at her age she should know 3-6 words... we've passed that by a long shot. I can't even count how many words she knows.

Her stats are:

Length: 32.3 inches- 61%

Weight: 23lbs 6oz -- 32%

Just like her daddy... tall and skinny! The doctor said she's doing wonderful. She's really smart and healthy. I guess that's all I can ask for!

1. Daniel Raymond Clark- Where would I be without him? Lost I'm sure... He is my everything. I love that I get to spend forever with him.

I'd like to devote this post to the most AMAZING mother in the world. Seriously people you don't know what you are missing out on here. I have the greatest mom ever. I just wanted to let her know how great she really is.

Growing up I never went without the things I needed or even wanted for that matter. While many times I know my mom went without so that I would not. She taught me how to be a mother and wife. She is caring and compassionate. She helps everyone and anyone in need. My brothers have had very interesting friends, but not one of them no matter how different has been turn away.

Another name she is known as is Nana. Once again the greatest Nana in the world. She never does anything half way. Everything she does is extraordinary. Brynnly and Rylee (my niece) love her so much. Sometimes I think Brynnly loves her more than she loves me. She plays all of Rylee's silly made up games. And gets one the floor and plays with Brynnly. Brynnly loves her Nana. Nana was the 3rd word Brynnly learned, after mama and dada!

And finally one of the names I love to call her the most is Friend. My mom is my best friend. Don't get me wrong Danny is also my best friend. But there is just something about my mom. She's my shopping buddy, my doctor (especially when I don't know what's wrong with Brynnly... I call her), My mentor, my role model, my counselor, and my best friend. She's always there for me. I trust her with my daughters life... and if any of you know me there aren't many people i trust with that.

Here is an update on my crazy baby. If any of you know Brynnly you will know that I either call her monkey or crazy. Both names fit her very well. She climbs on everything and anything! Yes I was blessed with a climber. She is also fearless like her daddy. I mean no fear at all. That doesn't mean that she isn't smart. She is also very smart. Everyone that interacts with her is amazed at how well she understands. She understands pretty much everything and has a proper response to any questions she is asked.
Next month we are going to start a mommy and me gymnastics class. I am so excited.
I swear she learns a new word everyday. Some words she can say are: cow- "tow", Lulu (our dog), mow mow (my parents cat), pants, shoe, no, yes, dada, mama, nana, bumpa, Trisity- "sissy", Rylee, Chelsea, Sherri- "she she", Zach- "Za", baby, bear, please, more, yes, help, and lots more that I can't think of. She also shakes her head for no and nods her head for yes. My brother Zach tried to get her to say Mississippi, she attempted to say it but all that came out was sissy!
She loves to give mommy, daddy, nana, and Rylee kisses. Everyone else just gets lovies (hugs).
She's a pretty good eater but getting picker... and like a true "O'Bray" girl will pass up anything for chocolate! It's her favorite. She takes after her nana. She loves to go with bumpa to see his horses. She loves all animals.
She loves to be told how cute she is. If you talk about her cute hair she'll have to show you her cute shoes and clothes. She is such a GIRL!!!!
One of my favorite things about her is when she's tired she loves to cuddle!! I could go on and on and on and on about my sweet sweet girl but I will spare you all. Here are some pics of my silly crazy monkey girl!

The place we stayed was called the Beaver Creek Lodge. We would recommend it to anyone! It was awesome... All the rooms had jetted tubs, the food was great, the staff was awesome, and the snowmobiling was sweet!

Family Trip

Right at this moment we are about 13 miles from Bear Lake... At The Beaver Creek Lodge. My parents gave us this trip for Christmas. We've been playing in the snow and tubing. For Christmas my sister-in-law, Jenny, gave Brynnly this cute stroller for her babies. But Brynnly had decided that it is her favorite new chair. My mom got her a stroller car seat combo for her babies and she also likes to sit in that. So we decided it was time she got her own chair...This is just a stinkin cute picture of Brynnly.

Here she is in her new chair! $50 at Costco. It is really comfortable. I even catch Danny sitting it quite often. She loves it! She still sits in her strollers but she loves her new chair! She's adorable.

Danny thought it would be funny to put his disco sunglasses and necklace on her! And it was pretty funny!

Christmas Miracle

Yes it is true this year my family was blessed with a miracle. You see the doctors were positive that my dad would either have to have shunts (however it's spelled) or a bypass. They even thought it might have to be a multiple bypass. So we went to the hospital yesterday to get his angeogram (I'm not so good at spelling the medical terms). We waited FOREVER! They finally took my Dad after like 5 hours of waiting. Telling us he'd be back in an hour to an hour and a half. My grandma and i left about 35 mins after that to get some food. My dad wasn't allowed to eat and we didn't want him to have to smell our food. My mom stayed to wait for him.
I'm waiting with my cute grammy to get our food and my mom called telling me my dad was back! And that they didn't do anything for him. My heart sunk... That meant he needed a bypass. I know people have them all the time but i was still worried for my Dad. Almost in tears I repeated back to her "They didn't do anything?" She responded "No they don't have to do ANYTHING AT ALL!!!" I was truly in tears then.
He could control it with medication. All of our prayers had been answered. That had never been an option. He has to check back in a year, other than that it's back to normal!!
I'd like to thank all of you for your support and prayers. We truly appreciate it.

My dad went into the doctor a few weeks ago for a cough and the doctor noticed his heart was enlarged. So they ordered a stress test and just found out that sometime over the past year he has had a heart attack. I know it's odd that he didn't know he was having one while it happened, but he has a very high pain tolerence and he doesn't like to worry my mom by telling her when he's in pain. The next step is to check out how bad the damage is. So Tuesday he's going in to see what they need to do to fix it. There's a big chance that he might need to have a bypass. I'm asking for you to remember him in your prayers over the next few days. We love you all and wish you a very Merry Christmas!

If any of you know my daughter you know how crazy she is! She is off the wall nuts! She's a climber. We call her our little monkey. She loves to run and she can actually jump and catch some air. She will crawl right off the edge of the bead or couch or anything that is off the ground. She has no fear! Today I was putting some clothes away in my dresser and she came running over tripped and fell and slammed her face into the open drawer. Danny quickly scooped her up and she started crying. She doen't usually cry when she falls so it was pretty obvious that she really got hurt. She did calm down and she wasnt bleeding so we continued with our business. I put her in the bath about 20 mins later. I noticed that she had a pretty big red mark right next to corner of her mouth. I am anticipaiting a bruise to show up anytime. She is still nuts. A few people have told me just to wait for a boy because they are crazier than girls. I can't even imagine. It's unheard of for her to sit still for more than 3 seconds unless she's asleep!

So my cute little sister (trisity) went to her first dance last night... Homecoming!!! She's so stinkin adorable. She let me play hair dresser and make-up artist. We went to the doctor today for Brynnly's one year check up and she had to have 4 shots! So sad!! She screamed and cried like crazy. But before that... now forgive me I'm going to have a proud parent moment here. I've always felt like Brynnly was really smart for her age. But I am her mother and all parents feel like their children are smart. When visiting with her doctor he was so impressed with her. He said that she is very smart and advanced for her age and that she is very strong willed, which at her age is a good thing. He also said that I should think about putting her in dance or tumbling here in the next year or so since she has amazing balance and hand-eye coordination. We'll have to look into getting her into something like that. I am totally amazed because if any of you know me well at all I can trip over anything. Growing up i tripped all of the time, my mom calls me grace!!
As far as her growth she is 20lbs 8oz... Which is the 37% and her length is 30in which is the 73%... Tall and skinny! She doesn't get that from me! The doctor is a little bit worried that she'll get too skinny. She is a really good eater so I'm not so worried about that.
Recently I found out that she LOVES junior mints!!! She could eat a whole box if I'd let her. She gets so mad at me of I eat some of her junior mints. It's so funny. She's no longer drinking from a bottle! She's a big girl now!!!

Trisity got this one and left it in the bathroom one night and when my brother got home he flipped on the bathroom light and it freaked him out. So I'm a little late in posting but Sunday (Sept 7th) was mine and Dannys 2 year anniversery. Boy have things changed since then. "Bare" Lake

Hello everyone!

We just got back from Bear Lake today. We had a lot of fun! My parents have a toy share membership so we took 4 wave runners. My parents inherited a boat about 10 years ago from my great uncle. And my dad has been working hard to get it ready. When we found the title it said that it was made in 1970! So needless to say it is an old boat! We left on thursday and there were still a few problems with it so we decided not to take it.

I love our Bear Lake trip the most because it is so chill. We just relax on the beach! I'll put up some more pictures when i get them downloaded.

Let me explain this picutre. Brynnly's diaper came undone on one side and started to fall off. She tried to pull it back on but gave up after a second. She pulled it off and threw it over her shoulder and started to walk around with it. We couldn't stop laughing!

People have been asking when we will be having our next baby. You'd think that we'd at least get a year before people would start asking that question. They started asking a few months ago... Brynnly just turned 10 months old! Well, on Saturday we babysat my cute new nephew (who is about 6 weeks old) for about 6 hours. And as fun and adorable as he is I am not ready for baby number 2! When my youngest sister was born the ages of the my 4 youngest siblings were 3,2,1, and new born! I was 5 and Chelsea was 6 at that time. Luckely my mom had Sherri who was 15. I don't know how women do it... I don't know how my mom did it! I hardly have time to catch my breath with just one. So to answer the question on all of your minds... my cute Brynnly is such a handful that baby number 2 wont be coming for a little while!!

We just got back from Lake Powell with the Clark family and it was so fun. Brynnly is a little boating baby. She loved the speed boat and the water. I attempted to wake board with a little sucess. I honestly can't believe that I am a mom. It's probably the most fulfilling calling in life that I have ever had. It's not always easy! Brynnly Danielle Clark was born on September 22, 2007. She'll be 10 months old in a few months. She on the go all of the time and is usually smiling. She can take 2-3 steps all by herself. And can stand alone until she realises that she's doing it then she falls on her bottom. Ever since she learned to crawl she's been everywhere and into every thing. It's hard to keep her in one spot. She already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger. We leave for Lake Powell tomorrow with the Clark family. I'll post pictures of that when we get back!!

Hello everyone!!
The Clark family has been bugging me about getting a blog for some time now and here it is!! I'll give everyone a quick update on our little family. Danny is still working at Sorenson Communications. He's been looking for a new job and just interviewed with a company yesterday and has a another interview set up for today. He'd be selling insurance... so if any of you have insite on that job please let us know. We are still living at my parents house and it will continue to stay that way until Danny gets a new job. I am just being a mom! Loving every minute of it!! Brynnly is getting so big. She's almost 10 months old and could be walking any day now! It's so cute! She says "mama" and "dada". She's one of the most active babies that i have ever seen! I'll get some pictures up as soon as i figure out how to post them! I guess that's all for now!
